Who we are
Power in Community
We strive to afford youth and their communities meaningful opportunities to strengthen their social capital and mobility, in Kenya and beyond. Since 2001, what began as a library in one rural school has grown into renovated classrooms, clean water, scholarships and a vocational school, all shaped and built with the community itself.

It started with one student, and the trader who believed in him.
Stephen Mbuvi walked out of Kiteta Primary School and into a PhD because someone paid his school fees. The library his neighbours founded in his memory grew into everything we do. His story is the reason we exist.
