Donation & Refund Policy

Stephen Mbuvi Global respects the people behind every visit, message and gift. This policy explains what information we collect on stephenmbuviglobal.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Tax status

Stephen Mbuvi Global is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 99-4166825. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. A receipt is emailed automatically for every gift through GiveButter. Keep it for your records.

How gifts are used

Gifts to SMG go to the general fund, which the board directs to the projects the community has vetted and prioritised. This is deliberate. Unrestricted giving lets us move resources to the need that is most urgent rather than the one that happened to attract the most attention.

Refund

Gifts made in error, duplicated by mistake, or in an unintended amount will be refunded. Write to info@stephenmbuviglobal.org within 30 days of the gift and we will process the refund to your original payment method.

Recurring gifts

Monthly gifts can be changed or cancelled at any time, either through the link in your receipt email or by writing to info@stephenmbuviglobal.org. Cancellations stop future charges. Past charges follow the refund policy above.
